WHAT IS INTEGRATIVE LIFE COACHING?
Integrative Life Coaching is unique in that it tailors the sessions to the needs of you, using the latest innovative & simplest techniques found in counselling and Life Coaching. It helps improve your relationships, health, self-worth and quality of life.

The type of therapy used will depend on your counsellor's preferences, the issues you are facing and what type of person you are. This will happen organically once your counsellor finds out more about you and the way you think.

WHAT TO EXPECT FROM ILCOACHING
If you are thinking of trying iLCoaching, you might be feeling anxious about what will happen. Knowing what to expect from a session should help you feel more prepared and less nervous about your first appointment.
In your first session, there woul be an assessment and it is likely that your counsellor will ask you some questions in order to gain an understanding of what's worrying you and the way you feel. All of the information obtained here will be used to help you in future sessions.
Some questions your counsellor may ask include:
What has brought you to seek counselling?
What would you like to achieve from counselling?
What symptoms are you experiencing?
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR ME TO KNOW ILCOACHING IS WORKING?
It is depending on the issue, concerns, how much engagement and commitment there is from you. Previous clients noticed a difference in themselves and a reduction in their symptoms after 4-6 sessions, while some noticed it in less. It really depends, as different people have different barriers, worries and stresses that they need to overcome. Plus, no two clients, think, feel, operate in the same way.
However, iLCoaching will endeavour to make the sessions as comfortable and relaxing as possible so that you are able to be yourself, feel safe and confident enough to discuss those worries.
WHERE ARE THE SESSIONS HELD?
Sessions can be held face to face, telephone or online. This can be discussed and agreed upon in the first session.
WHAT FORM OF PAYMENTS DOES ILCOACHING TAKE?
To secure your session, payment is to be paid in advance and methods of payment will be explained when you book.
DO YOU WORK WITH YOUNG PEOPLE AND CHILDREN?
Unfortunately, iLCoaching do not offer therapy for this age range.
ARE THE SESSIONS CONFIDENTIAL?
I aim to provide a safe confidential space for you to explore your feelings. However, I do have a duty of care and am legally required to disclose any information which may indicate that there is serious risk of harm to you or to others. I would discuss this with you prior to disclosure of this nature to any third party. As a member of the National Counselling Society, I am bound by a code of ethics and required to have supervision where at times, I would need to discuss your case to ensure best practice but you will not be identified. To also protect your confidentiality, I would not acknowledge you or approach you if I happen to see you in public. To maintain the professional confidential service that you can access when you need it, I also will have no social contact with you outside of the sessions.
HOW LONG AND OFTEN ARE THE SESSIONS?
The sessions are 50 minutes in duration and are held at weekly, fortnightly or monthly intervals. At the beginning it would be held more frequently and as we progress, sessions may become spread over a wider time frame to allow you to put into practice what you have gained from the session.
